Spring has arrived in Leeds, the streets are lined with flowering cherry trees, and in the undisturbed woodland that is Temple Newsam Forest, the bluebells are blooming. This year has been a spectacularly good one for bluebells. It is quite difficult to capture in photographs - to the naked eye, bluebells are really striking but when photographed they often come across as a sort of faint blue mist. These are some images I took over the Bank Holiday weekend, on long walks with my dogs.
